This page explains how DAINO Technologies S.r.l. handles the personal data of people who visit dainotechnologies.com and get in touch with us. It is written in plain language: if anything is unclear, write to us at info@dainotechnologies.com.
1. Who is the data controller
The data controller is DAINO Technologies S.r.l., Via Gian Giacomo Porro 8, Rome, Italy, VAT 18606961003. For any request about your data you can write to info@dainotechnologies.com.
2. What data we collect and why
When you write to us or use the form
The contact form collects your name, company, email, phone (optional) and the message you write. We use it to reply and, if you wish, to arrange a demo. The form opens your own email client and sends the message directly to info@dainotechnologies.com: the data does not pass through our servers or any third party. Legal basis: responding to your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
When you book a demo
The Book page uses Google Calendar's appointment scheduling. If you pick a time, your name, email and the chosen slot are processed by Google under its own privacy policy. If you would rather not use Google, you can simply email us.
Technical browsing data
The site is hosted on Vercel and the domain is managed through Cloudflare. As with any website, their servers log technical data (IP address, browser type, date and time) to run and protect the service. We do not use it to profile you.
Fonts
The site's typeface (Manrope) is served from our own domain: we do not send your IP address to external font providers.
3. Cookies and local storage
We do not use profiling, marketing or analytics cookies. That is why you do not see a banner: we do not install non-essential cookies without an action from you.
- Language preference: we save your choice between Italian and English in the browser's local storage (key
daino-lang). It only serves to remember the language and you can clear it from your browser settings. - Third-party cookies: they appear only if you open the Book page, which embeds Google Calendar. In that case Google may set its own cookies. You can avoid them by not using that page or by managing them in your browser.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell or share your data for third-party marketing. To run the site we rely on these providers:
- Vercel Inc. — site hosting;
- Cloudflare Inc. — domain management and content delivery;
- Google (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) — only if you use the Book page, for demo scheduling.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of these providers are based or have servers in the United States. When data is transferred outside the EU, this happens on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and/or their membership of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long we keep the data
The emails and requests you send us stay in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle the contact and any follow-up, then they are deleted. Technical data logged by the hosting providers follows their own retention periods.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to receive it in a readable format (Art. 15-22 GDPR). Write to info@dainotechnologies.com. If you believe the processing breaches the rules, you can contact the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
